Onions and apples emerged as top sellers, with a notable increase in the supply of potatoes and carrots leading to price reductions. Ukraine has kicked off its local greenhouse tomato season, and Kazakhstan has begun exporting new crop onions and cabbage. Meanwhile, garden strawberries have made a comeback in sales. Price fluctuations were observed across different regions, including an increase in cabbage prices in Ukraine and a decrease in orange prices in Egypt, where exporters have also adjusted mandarin prices. The watermelon season in Egypt is on the horizon, with substantial investments in production. Additionally, the EastFruit Fruittechnology group saw a decrease in activity, shifting focus to agricultural supplies and the sale of a Nutstar walnut processing and packaging factory. The most active countries on the platform were Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Iran, and Kazakhstan, with varying price trends for fruits and vegetables.
