United States President Donald Trump met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday (30). In addition to reducing import tariffs on Chinese products, Trump announced that China should begin talks with American chip manufacturer Nvidia about purchasing semiconductors, although not including the most advanced artificial intelligence models from the Blackwell series. "We make great chips. Nvidia is a world leader," stated the president, who highlighted Beijing's willingness to negotiate directly with American companies in the sector. The meeting between Trump and Xi, which lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes, concluded the president's trip through three Asian countries and marked an attempt to reduce trade tensions between Washington and Beijing.
