Despite the pandemic, Turkey managed to increase herbal production by 7.6% compared to the previous year, with a total production of 126,1 million tons. The country has been among the leading agricultural producers in Europe and the world for the past 10 years, with a record agricultural output of 333.3 billion liras last year, an increase of 20% from the year before. Turkey is a leading producer of various crops, including hazelnuts, cherries, figs, and apricots, and exports 1982 types of agricultural products to 205 countries, generating $20.7 billion in revenue.
