The Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTB), in collaboration with the Cyprus Turkish Women Entrepreneurs Association (GİKAD) and International Final University (UFÜ), two schools from Gaziantep were deemed worthy of the "Green Flag Award" within the scope of the "Green Schools and Young Defenders of Nature Project". With the support of the Gaziantep Governorship and Provincial Directorate of National Education, Sevinç Göymen Secondary School and Mehmet Alevli Primary School, designated as pilot schools in Gaziantep, received the "Green Flag Award" at the 3rd Green Schools Project Award Ceremony in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for their exemplary works in environmental sensitivity.
