In the first quarter of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of frozen vegetables, with volumes reaching 2.2 thousand tons and generating over $2.7 million in revenue, a doubling of figures from the previous year. The main exports included frozen cauliflower, broccoli, and sweet corn, with Germany, Israel, Belgium, Italy, Poland, France, and Romania being the main buyers. This growth is attributed to the expansion of the berry cultivation industry and the efficient use of equipment by investing in new freezing enterprises. The increase in frozen vegetable exports is part of a larger trend of consistent year-on-year growth in this sector.
