Ukraine set a record for the processing of rapeseed: 250 thousand tons in September

The processing season for the 2025 rapeseed crop began in July of the current year, however, in two months only about 60 thousand tons of seeds were processed into oil, which allowed for the production and export of 25 thousand tons of rapeseed oil, reports "ProAgro Group". However, already in September, according to the Association "Ukroliyaprom", under the conditions of the export duty, the processing of rapeseed at domestic enterprises increased to a record monthly volume for all years – 250 thousand tons. Oil production (estimated) reached 120 thousand tons, of which 108.8 thousand tons were exported for $121.9 million. The growth compared to the same period last year was 2.8 and 3.3 times, respectively. The cost of one ton of exported oil increased in the current marketing year compared to the previous one by $171.4 to $1120.4 per ton.
