The Dnipro-based group of companies Sol Union has begun construction of the Neo Food System factory in the Kyiv region. The projected capacity of the enterprise will allow it to produce 60 thousand ready meals daily. The factory will produce ready-to-eat chilled, pasteurized, sterilized, and deep-frozen meals. The group's investment in this project amounts to 220 million hryvnias. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Kysylevs'kyi. He noted that for the implementation of current investment projects, Sol Union utilized several development policy programs for Ukrainian manufacturers "Made in Ukraine." In particular, the group took advantage of a state grant for processing worth 8 million hryvnias, purchasing autoclaves from the Kyiv-based Rozfood plant. Additionally, the group attracted loans from the "5-7-9" program and plans to further expand its loan portfolio. The launch of the plant is expected to create 260 new jobs in the Kyiv region. The production area is 4,000 square meters.
