The Union of Small Farmers (UPA) in Spain has launched a campaign to promote the quality and safety of strawberries from Huelva, following a Hepatitis A warning linked to Moroccan strawberries. UPA Andalusia's deputy secretary, Francisco Moreno, assured consumers that Huelva's strawberries are healthy and sustainable. Huelva is Europe's leading strawberry producer, providing over 6,000 jobs in the region. UPA Andalucía has urged consumers to look for code 84 on strawberry labels, which indicates that the product is made in Spain.
