USA Rice shares sustainability story with European delegation

WASHINGTON DC – On October 8, USA Rice joined U.S. Sustainability Alliance-hosted roundtables with delegates from the Ministries of Agriculture from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Spain. These meetings were part of a larger U.S. visit to showcase the U.S. approach to voluntary sustainable efforts implemented by farmers and the ag-supply chain across the United States. The morning session began with U.S. agricultural cooperators, including USA Rice, sharing industry-wide perspectives. The delegates were eager to better understand the legislative framework around sustainability and conservation and how those lead to implementation at the farm level.
