Vietnam's total import and export value in 2023 is projected to reach 681.04 billion USD, with exports reaching 354.67 billion USD, a decrease of 4.6%, with notable decreases in phone and textile exports. Some commodity groups, such as fruits and vegetables and transport vehicles, saw increases in export value. Import value is expected to reach 326.37 billion USD, with decreases in the import of wheat, corn, soybeans, and animal feed, as well as in the fuel group. Despite the decreases, the country's trade balance of goods for the year is projected to have a surplus of 28.30 billion USD.
