The volume of coffee exported by Brazil fell in September, reflecting the lower availability of the bean in the country. This is what the data analyzed by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) indicate. This lower availability was due to the harvest of a reduced crop and problems in processing, adjusted domestic stocks, and also tariffs imposed by the U.S. government on Brazilian coffee imports. In total, the outflow reached 3.75 million 60 kg bags in September, representing a reduction of 18.4% compared to the same month in 2024.
