The forecast for Russian wheat exports in December has been raised to 3.7-3.8 million tons, up from the previous estimate of 3.4-3.5 million tons, with the total exports for the first half of the 2024/25 season expected to reach 29.4 million tons, marking a 1.7 million tons increase from the previous record. Despite active purchases of milling wheat by Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, the wheat exchange market experienced a decline last week, with prices for Russian wheat remaining unchanged at $235/t FOB. Meanwhile, prices in the domestic market saw variations across different regions.
