Wheat price drops and weather affects crops in Paraná

According to Ceema, the weather has caused losses in the Paraná crops, where 77% of the area had already been harvested by the beginning of the analyzed week. In Rio Grande do Sul, the harvest was advancing more slowly, with about 3% of the total area completed. The National Supply Company (Conab) estimates that Brazil's total wheat production should slightly exceed private sector projections, reaching 7.67 million tons.
