Maples are expected to reach their peak starting with Seoraksan in Gangwon (25th), followed by Sokrisan (27th), Naejangsan (November 6th), and Hallasan (November 4th). Ginkgo trees will peak at Hwaaksan (17th), Sokrisan (25th), Jukryeongsan and Gyeryongsan (26th), and Halla Arboretum (November 14th).

The peak of the foliage has been delayed by 4 to 5.2 days compared to the past 10 years. This forecast was made by integrating long-term observational data on biological seasons and mountain weather information collected by the National Arboretum, 9 regional public arboretums, and the National Institute of Forest Science.
