Pacific Fruits Corporation stores and packs the product in plants with cold storage area and in a clean and dry environment. The dragon fruit is received at the plant and each fruit is manually cleaned and then packed in cardboard boxes. each box weighs approximately 2.5 net kgs. After selecting and packing the product is stacked in wooden pallets which are used to send the product to the airport for its respective delivery to the airline. It takes 2-3 days for the order to be ready for shipment once ready. Preferred port of delivery is the Eldorado airport Bogota.

The fruit is carefully selected on the farm and then goes through another selection process in the plant. The quality control personnel from the company is present during the cutting of the fruit to conduct a rigorous quality examination before it is received at the packing plant. Pacific Fruits Corporation ensures to provide fruits that are completely free of plagues and insects. The company obtains the certifications that are given to the producers so that the export of the product complies with the international standards of the destination country.

Pacific Fruits Corporation has an average yield of 20 MT per year. It is grown all year round with a maximum production between the months of October to January. The fruit is cultivated in Colombia's countryside which provides excellent quality fruit due to its fertile lands. The fruit meets all phytosanitary requirements for export with the residue limits allowed for human consumption.

Dragon fruit grows on the Hylocereus cactus, also known as the Honolulu queen, whose flowers only open at night. The fruit has high contents of fibre, iron, monounsaturated fats, Vitamin C (3 times more than carrots), minerals and the seeds contain Omega-3 fats. The fruit is best suited for raw consumption or for further processing. This fruit can be stored for 8 to 15 days in shelves without cold storage.
