W36: Grapefruit Update

In W36 in the grapefruit landscape, the 2022/23 European Union (EU) monthly grapefruit imports reached 11.4 thousand tons in Aug-23. Furthermore, the highest monthly grapefruit imports for the 2022/23 EU season occurred in Nov-22, with 31 thousand metric tons (mt). China contributed significantly to this high import volume, with 19.6 thousand mt, followed by Israel with 6 thousand mt.

On the other hand, Apr-23 recorded the lowest monthly grapefruit imports, totaling 7 thousand mt. During this period, Türkiye played a notable role, contributing 669 tons to the imports.
