Major Financial Challenges as a Direct Result of the Strikes in Peru (Jan 23)

Some growers, exporters, nurseries, and transporters of mangoes talk about the impact of the riots on their business activity. With delayed harvest, fewer quantities to export, interrupted access routes, and difficulty reaching ports or airports on time.

The Global and Domestic Scenarios Will Continue to Affect Export Fruit Prices in 2023 (Jan 26)

The Union leader of agricultural producers of Peru reported that the price of mango continues to be affected by global and domestic scenarios in 2023. Global and local aspects have complicated production and internal marketing. The sanitary restrictions in China, the war between Russia and Ukraine, and the social upheaval in Peru are events that harm the agro-export sector.
