The US remains the top soybean exporting country to the Malaysian soybean market, with its market share steadily increasing in recent years to reach more than 80%. At the same time, Canada and Brazil increasingly lost their positions in recent years. Malaysia's total soybean import growth is sluggish in 2019, assuming the local demand has been stagnant.
