The export of Chilean peaches in 2020 grew rapidly after four consecutive years never exceeding 100M USD, now the total value is recorded at more than 160M USD despite experiencing a decline last year. The US and Hong Kong are currently the largest markets for Chilean peaches. In fact, Hong Kong's demand increase was quite unexpected, increasing +38,669.28% within a year, rising as the second-largest importer after the US. While Chile's peach exports are growing, the demand for French peaches is falling and Australia's world supply is increasing rapidly to Hong Kong. The best time for Chile to export peaches to major importers such as the US, Canada, and Hong Kong is around February. Chile is entering its other major producer low season.
