The decline in the price of dried chickpeas in Australia was due to an increase in supply as reflected in an increase in exports to 77.59K tons in September 2021. Meanwhile, the production of dried chickpeas in Australia is expected to improve for the 2021/22 period which allows for increased exports and reduced prices.
