Tomato Prices in the UK have become more Expensive in September

The wholesale price of beefsteak & round tomato variety in the UK has increased +105.59% YoY. Prices continued to rise to reach 2.01 USD/KG in W2 September 2021. The high domestic wholesale price of tomatoes may lead the UK to import more tomatoes from Morocco as imports from the Netherlands and Spain have become more difficult since Brexit.
