Wheat imports in the UK increased at an average annual rate of around 50% over the period from 2019. Its supply is now dominated by the German export market, whose value has increased by +355.34% in recent years. Not only the UK, but Germany is also taking over the market in Netherlands and Iran. Germany is now ranked third as the world's largest exporter, whose value has increased by +66.71% in the 2019-2020 period.
