Famifarm Oy

Karl Grotenfelt, Järvikylä's tenth squire, founded Famifarm Oy in 1987 when the first greenhouse was built in the barn attic of a mansion that had belonged to the same family since 1674. Today, Kalle's dream of reviving the family business and the surrounding countryside has come true.

The greenhouses work in perfect harmony with other agricultural activities, and 130-140 people work full-time with Järvikylla products at the Järvikylla farm in Joroinen. Kalle's children, his brothers Albert and Caroline, are also actively involved in the company's operations.

Salads and herbs sold under the Järvikylä brand tell the story of the Järvikylä farm in a unique way. Järvikylä provides Finns with clean, local and fresh potted salads and herbs all year round. Over the years the range has grown and even today they try to launch at least one new product a year.
