JS Cocoa is a trademark of Jan Schoemaker BV, a cocoa ingrediënt producer in Zaandam the Netherlands, active since 1923 and 100% Dutch owned. It is our aim to help customers reduce cost on cocoa ingrediënt buying by producing good quality affordable cocoa products. We operate in a niche of the industry with unique products and with a circular conscience; based on non-conventional cocoa streams we produce refined deodorized cocoa butter with extremely low FFA levels, both for the chocolate industry as well as for specific applications in palm-replacing fat blends, cosmetics and pharmaceutical segments. Based on single-origin cocoa beans, sourced through our 100% daughter-company Resigha in Ghana, we also produce a new specialty black cocoa powder with extremely high solids content for more color impact. JS Cocoa employs over 100 people in the Netherlands and Ghana.
