Martas was established in 1972 as a cooperative that processes fruit and vegetable products. It offers packaged frozen foods that range from 1 - 20kg and handles both conventional and organic frozen fruits and vegetables. It is BRC, ISO9001, ISO22000, and SEDEX accredited.

It has two processing plants in Bursa and Kemalpaşa. it has a processing capacity of 40,000 tons and a cold storage capacity of 30,000 tons. It exports mainly to Europe, the USA, and the Middle East and expects to expand export sales in Asia.
