Weiser Farms Inc

In 1977, Sid Weiser, a chemistry instructor and guidance counselor at Garfield High School in East Los Angeles, made the decision to uproot his family and pursue his dream of living off the land. This was the beginning of Weiser Family Farms. Raquel and Sidney established a home in Tehachapi, California. They picked up how to take care of the fruit plants their pears, apples, and peaches. They then purchased acreage in other areas, expanding their operations to include a range of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. 
Their son Alex stepped up in 1982 to help the family sell at nearby farmers' markets. There, he came into contact with chefs, the general public, and specialty produce buyers looking for seasonal, high-quality products with outstanding flavor. As a result of hearing this advice, Alex decided to concentrate on developing a bio-diverse farm that uses sustainable agricultural methods. His top priority was to provide the public with rare fruits and vegetables collected at their prime for consumption rather than for commercial purposes. Today, Weiser Family Farms cultivates a tapestry of premium food year-round in the Greater Bakersfield region, Tehachapi, and the Lucerne Valley.
