- Fresh Okra - it is an early maturing variety (Greenie Taiwan Variety), harvested from fresh young pods, free from physical injury, warts, molds and insect bites.- - The fruits are well formed, with straight pods 8-10 cm in length (maximum deflection of 1 - 1.5 cm. from the center) green to dark green in color. - Frozen Whole Okra (IQF) is an early maturing variety (Greenie Taiwan Variety), harvested from fresh young pods, free from physical injury, warts, molds and insect bites. - The fruits are well formed, with straight pods 8-10 cm in length (maximum deflection of 1.0 - 1.5 cm from the center) green to dark green in color, cut in the stalk for whole okra; cut into desired sizes of 0.5-1.0 cm for chopped okra, blanched at 100°C for 60 seconds, hydro-cooled at 5°C using ice chilled water. - The product is Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) using a tunnel freezer at - 35°C and stored at - 18°C or cooler. Ideal for Industrial and Food Service use (e.g. salad and cooking ingredient). - Shelf-Life: 2 years from production date under storage temp. of -18°C or cooler. - Packaging : Bulk pack - 2.5 kg P.E. bag x 4 bags/master carton of 10kgs. net, - 1kg P.E. bag x 10 bags/master carton of 10kgs net
