Argentina: Soy flour is exported under the conditions requested by the European Union

In the last quarter of 2023, three shipments of soy flour left Argentine ports with a georeferenced certificate that guarantees that the product comes from fields free of deforestation. These shipments were the result of pilot tests of the implementation of the VISEC Protocol in Argentina, whose demands are aligned with the requirements of Regulation 2023/1115 of the European Union linked to deforestation-free products, which will come into force on December 30, 2024.
