Yellow-legged invasive Asian hornets were accidentally brought to Europe in 2003 from China to France and they are a huge threat to beekeepers ever since. They are discovered in more and more countries recently. A group of 30 hornets can destroy an entire hive containing 30,000 bees in less than four hours, so they are extremely dangerous and there is no effective protection against them yet that would not affect also the bees themselves.
