Despite the high price, China's demand for black pepper from Vietnam has grown significantly

Vietnam still sits as the top exporter to China despite the rose in its export price during 2015 and 2018. The local demand for black pepper in China has been growing since 2017 and reach a record-high level in 2019 while also overtook the US' position as the top destination for black pepper from Vietnam.
