The wholesale price of Brazilian melon has increased by +62.8% YoY after remaining low from the beginning of the year to April 2021. The price hit its peak at 0.52 USD/KG in the first week of October 2021. The price increase is from high local and international demand, especially in Europe. As the melon production in Brazil is limited, the price is likely to remain high for the foreseeable future.
