Banana imports from the UK is soaring but German imports get more rapid

The increasing demand for bananas from the UK has succeeded in bringing the country to reach the highest value for the past 5 years with a total of 600M USD. Most of the main suppliers aggressively increased their value and it is noted that Colombia occupies the largest share with the export value worth 193.64M USD. Meanwhile, Dominican Republic reduced their supply to UK in 2020, while the country expanded its export to Germany more than +10% in trade value.
