Aadrea Black Pepper oil is extracted from the seeds of Piper nigrum L, a flowering plant from family Piperaceae, (cultivated for its fruit known as a peppercorn which is usually used as an important spice), through the process of steam distillation and supercritical fluid extraction.

Aadrea Black Pepper extract is pale green in colour, with a spicy pungent odour. The active component(s) in a typical oil sample are β-caryophyllene (28 – 40%), L-Limonene (7-13%), 3-Carene (25-30%), β-Pinene, Sabinene, α-Pinene and others. Additionally, piperine is the naturally occurring and principal bioactive alkaloid constituent of black pepper owing to its potential therapeutic properties, including cerebral brain functioning and increased nutrient absorption.
