Rosemary essential oil

Aadrea Rosemary essential oil is derived from the aromatic herb Rosmarinus officinalis. The plant (nowadays called Salvia rosmarinus) is of the family Lamiaceae, and the oil is obtained through the process of steam distillation.

The oil is a colourless to pale yellow or greenish yellow liquid. Its scent is Aromatic, balsamic, cineole-like, more or less camphoraceous.

The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: 1,8-Cineole (38 – 55%), Camphor (5 – 15%), β-Pinene (4 – 9%), Camphene (3 – 6%), Borneol (1-5%), Limonene (2-4%), Linalool (0.3-2%) and others.

Eucalyptus globulus essential oil

Aadrea Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is extracted from the stock of the tall flowering trees part of Eucalyptus blue gum tree, of the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae), from fresh leaves and twigs through the process of steam distillation.

Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is a yellow to pale yellow liquid, with an aromatic characteristic odour of Cineole, and with a somewhat harsh, camphoraceous odour, and woody sweet undertone. The active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: 1,8-Cineole (min 60%), α-Pinene (10 – 22%), α-Phellandrene (0.1 – 1%), Limonene (1 – 8%), ρ-Cimene(1 – 2%), trans-Pinocarveol(1 – 6%), Aromadendrene(1 – 10%), and Globulol(0.5 – 1.5%).

Cypress essential oil

Aadrea Cypress essential oil is extracted from needle-bearing coniferous trees, derived from young twigs, stems and needles of the woody cypress tree Cupressus sempervirens L, also known as Mediterranean cypress. The essential oil is a pale yellow to yellow mobile liquid. Its scent is characteristic, terpenic, fresh and sweet.

The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: α-Pinene (40 – 60%), δ-3-Carene (16 – 27%), Limonene (2 – 5%), Myrcene (1 – 3.5%), β-Pinene (0.5 – 3%), α-Thujene, α-Fenchene, Sabinene, and Terpinen-4-ol, all ranging 0.5 – 2%.

Citronella essential oil

Aadrea Citronella essential oil is derived from freshly cut or partially dried grasses, (Cymbopogon nardus (Rendal) “Ceylon type” and “Java type”, whose plant structure consists of a red pigmented stem.

There is citronella odomos, as well, which is a potted plant, with fern-like leaves and also yields oil with similar chemical properties.

Citronella essential oil is a pale yellow to yellowish brown mobile liquid with a slightly sweet, floral, rosy or lemon- like scent. Its appearance is clear, sometimes opalescent. The main active component(s) in a typical oil sample are: Citronellal (30 – 40%), Geraniol (20 – 25%), Citronellol (9 – 14%), Limonene (2 – 5%), Cytronellyl acetate, Geranium acetate, Elemol, and others.

Aadrea Bottlebrush essential oil is extracted from the spikey bright red flowers and the green leaves and stems of Callistemon viminalis, a flowering plant from family Myrtaceae, through steam distillation. Aadrea Bottlebrush essential oil is pale yellow in colour, with a lemony citrusy earthy scent, reminiscent of the old soapy smells. The active component(s) in a typical oil sample are 1,8-cineole (47.9%–82.0%), α-pinene (2–40%), limonene (2–9%) and α-terpineol (1–13%) and others.

Aadrea Bottlebrush essential oil has good antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory/analgetic, antioxidant, anti-cancer, hepatoprotective, insecticidal and antipyretic properties, and others.
