Organic Cold Pressed Grape seed oil is an excellent source of antioxidants, tocopherols (Vitamin E) and high contents of phytosterols and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid, oleic acid, and alpha-linolenic acid. Grape seed oil contains high amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA):Linoleic acid (LA) and alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which belong to the n-6 (Omega-6) and n-3 (Omega-3) series of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). They are defined ‘essential’ fatty acids since they are not synthesized in the human body and should be taken exclusively by diet.
