Food use: In food terms, baobab powder is an energising food supplement and vitamin supplement. The pulp is used directly as an ingredient in various preparations for its binding, thickening and acidifying properties.

Cosmetic use: Due to its smoothing and emollient properties, baobab pulp can be used in the form of soap, ointments or masks, but also for anti-ageing treatments.

Medicinal use: Studies on its medicinal use have shown that the pulp has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic (temperature reducing), analgesic (pain relieving) and anti-diarrhoeal properties.
