Ghana’s Mango Industry suffers from Bacterial Black Spot

Ghana is one of the largest producers and exporter of mango in West Africa. The major export destination for Ghanaian mango is France. Despite the continued outbreak of the Bacterial Black Spot (BBS) disease that affects Mango trees and fruits threatening the production of mango in Ghana.
The disease has spread through Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo and it is spreading to farmers in the Southern region.
