Onion sales in Myanmar doubles as demand increases from neighboring countries

Due to the continuous high demand by neighboring countries such as India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam, Myanmar exports onion every day to the border gate. The local farmers at the Magway Region and Mandalay region can sell at competitive prices at the wholesale commodity center. By January 2020, their annual sales had more than doubled.
