The Economic Development Management of the District Municipality of Coyllurqui, in the province of Cotabambas, Apurímac region, delivered equipment and supplies to promote the technical breeding of guinea pigs in the peasant community of Ayahuillca. The implementation with equipment and supplies consisted of a veterinary kit (medications), 10 bags of balanced feed, 10 hopper feeders, 6 guinea pig cages, a guinea pig transport box, a wheelbarrow, among other materials. The delivery was carried out within the framework of the project "Improvement of productive capacities in the breeding of guinea pigs in the high-altitude communities of the district of Coyllurqui". In the community of Ayahuillca, the project plans to construct 14 guinea pig modules, in addition to providing veterinary kits, training in management and health, barn management, genetic selection and improvement, pasture conservation, exchange of experiences in other regions, and linkage to the regional market. ...
