After a week marked by political uncertainty, Chaco cereal and oilseed runner Ariel Ojeda analyzed the Argentine economic scenario and its impact on agriculture. In an interview with AgroPerfiles Radio, the specialist argued that "the local market is the result of the foreign market," and that the elections, rather than affecting international prices, directly impact the exchange rate, a determining factor for the national economy. Ojeda pointed out that, despite announcements of international financial support, "none of those things have happened." In his view, the government "has lost its way, technically and politically, they are very inexperienced," which could translate into "a defeat that is reflected in the exchange rate on Monday or Tuesday."
