Boosting beans production in the country.

The ministries of agriculture, Welfare, Economy, Environment, Government, Education, Tourism and Culture and of decentralized public organisms are working under a program aimed to improve common bean production and consumption in the country.
The program is mainly focused on improving betters seeds, more financial investment , marketing and increasing the production fields in the states such as Zacatecas, Sinaloa, Durango, Chihuahua, Nayarit y Chiapas.
Currently, less than 1 million MT of common bean are produced in the country whereas the consumption is over 1.6 million MT.
