Delayed Halal certification affecting suppliers

Halal application for suppliers in Malaysia at this moment takes quite a long time to approve. According to some fruit suppliers such as papaya, watermelon, the halal renewal process which usually takes only 2 weeks is now more than a month since after MCO. This makes many suppliers delay the export process since the Halal certificate is still in the process of renewal.
