After weeks of decline, the average prices of papaya reacted between October 27 and 31, in the main producing regions of the country, according to surveys by Hortifrúti/Cepea. In the North of Espírito Santo, the 12-18 havaí was sold at R$ 2.06/kg, an increase of 89% compared to the previous period. For the formosa, in the South of Bahia, the appreciation was 36%, at R$ 1.50/kg.
