Vietnamese farmers tend to use too many pesticides on plants such as tea and coffee. The figure indicated that there is about 100 KMT of chemical pesticides used every year which increasingly destroyed the animal habitats and insects which benefit and protect the plants from bacterial and diseases. However, research showed that Vietnamese manufacturers could reduce the number of pesticides used by 30% without affecting productivity.
