Almonds from Spain could take advantage of China/US commercial war

Almond's harvest campaign in Spain is about to surpass last year's one by +4%. The contraction demand combined with optimistic harvest (coming from Spain and the US) have generated lower quotations.

China is one of the top importers, nevertheless, Spain has not coordinated efforts with the Chinese government to come to an import agreement yet.
Spanish authorities are starting a long administrative process in order to connect with China and take advantage of the China / US commercial war background.

The US almonds exports have been damaged by Chinese new tariffs.
Chinese Californian Almond's imports have increased a 7%, reason why Chinese demand will probably turn to Spain as a qualitative alternative.
Spanish authorities must initiate a bureaucratic and administrative process to establish a new trading relationship with China.
