Bangladesh government wants to import red lentils

Bangladesh's government is looking to import substantial amounts of red lentil to ensure supply availability in the marketplace and to prevent red lentil prices from rising.

Turkey emerged as one of the main sourcing options for Bangladesh to import red lentils from and the imports are expected to take place on a monthly basis throughout 2021.
