Beef companies in Australia getting desperate as China does not seem to resume the trade

Even after Argentina had to reduce exports to meet their own internal beef demand, it seems China will maintain relevant Australian abattoirs with the prohibition to make any export into Mainland.

Australian suppliers have revealed that they have tried to resume the trade six months ago but have not been successful.

Last year, there were a total of 103 plants banned to export to China due to Covid-19. Now, the Chinese government has authorized more than 50 to resume their exports, while the rest will need to keep on waiting.
