Increase in coconut sugar demand

More and more Filipinos are starting to buy coconut sugar instead of other sugar available in the market due to the health benefits it possesses. According to the Department of Health (DOH) in the country, coconut products are able to combat the virus one way or another, thus the local market have high demands over such products which can help boost immune system. As compared to last year, there is a a 45% increase in demand of coconut sugar, which is projected to continue until early 2021.
