The new customs rules begin to take effect from this Thursday (27). SECEX Ordinance No. 44, published in the Federal Official Gazette on July 27, wants to encourage Brazilian exports and the economy. The regulations of the Ministry of Economy revise the rules for the concession, use and termination of the special customs drawback regime, a mechanism that allows tax relief for inputs used in the production of exported goods.
