Pine honey production reduced in Turkey due to suboptimal weather conditions

Pine honey production went down significantly in Turkey this season which puts the honey exporters in a difficult position as they are experiencing difficulties in fulfilling orders.

90% of Turkey's honey exports to Europe is pine honey and Turkey is responsible for 92% of the world's global pine honey production with an annual production volume of 40 KMT in 2019. In this season, the pine honey production is expected to be around 25 to 30% less than the previous season.
